Spirits consists of 10 monochromes. The dark shades vary between greenish / purplish or brownish. The color is the outcome by completely mixing a commercial paint-set , like van Gogh or so. Such a paint set consists of a number of tubes. Sometimes they only include the basic colors : magenta/blue/yellow/white/black. There’re also more extensive packages of 12, 24 or more color tubes. For this work I bought 10 different paint-sets, they all have an other outcome.
